Job summary

Alliant Energy seeks a Head of Infrastructure Portfolio Management to lead a multi-billion-dollar program across electric and gas infrastructure in multiple states. You will shape investment priorities, ensure reliability and affordability, and drive long-term value for customers, communities, and shareholders.

This executive role requires deep financial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to influence regulators and the Board as Alliant Energy advances critical infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of technical/professional experience with 10 years in progressive management.
• Experience advising executive management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-state electric and gas infrastructure investments to align with strategy and reliability.
• Set portfolio strategy, governance, and execution standards for major programs.
• Develop teams responsible for planning, permitting, engineering coordination, budgeting and delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, cost controls, governance and performance against financial objectives.
• Secure regulatory approvals and engage regulators and stakeholders effectively.
• Drive project controls, scheduling, resource planning and risk management.
• Collaborate with executives to evaluate investment opportunities and remove barriers.
• Represent the company in forums, communicating strategy and status with clarity.
