Join Mizuho as an Infrastructure Platform Engineer! We are looking for a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Enablement organization. As a key member of the Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) team, you will contribute to the modernization of microservice platforms focused on container architecture and enterprise scale. You will work closely with engineering peers to build scalable, reusable platforms and tooling — including Linux/Unix infrastructure and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) — that empower technical teams to deliver faster, more reliably, and with consistency. You will play an active role in developing and maintaining automation workflows using Ansible, managing enterprise Linux environments, and supporting the broader platform engineering lifecycle. This is a contributor role with opportunities to influence technical direction, contribute to platform capabilities, and grow within a high‑impact team.
The expected base salary ranges from $111,000 to $175,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
