Calance in Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid) is looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise servers, storage, and infrastructure environments across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Kubernetes. You will handle upgrades, patching, backups, recovery testing, and migrations while ensuring performance, security, and capacity.

The role also involves leading projects, mentoring engineers, and maintaining documentation.

Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Engineer

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Hybrid)

Position: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $145K–$160K per annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer to manage, maintain, and support enterprise-level physical and virtual server, storage, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Windows Server, VMware, Dell/Pure Storage, Active Directory, RHEL Linux, and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, VMware environments, and enterprise storage systems.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, backups, recovery testing, and infrastructure migrations.
• Support VMware vSphere, NSX, vSAN, Dell servers, and Pure Storage.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure incidents and drive root cause resolution.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, security, and capacity.
• Lead infrastructure projects, mentor engineers, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience.
• 5+ years of Windows Server administration and VMware experience.
• Strong experience with Dell servers, enterprise storage, SAN, and backup solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with VMware NSX, vSAN, and vSphere.
• 5+ years of RHEL Linux and Kubernetes experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
