Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Network Engineer to administer and troubleshoot enterprise network hardware and software. You will manage Aruba, Arista, and Cisco switching, VLANs, STP, and SD-WAN, while supporting Infoblox DDI and wireless APs.

You will collaborate with security and application teams on architecture, changes, and datacenter projects. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure operations experience.
• Must hold an associate-level certification from Cisco or Aruba.
• Strong proficiency in switching, Aruba wireless, VLANs, and STP.
• Hands-on Aruba switches via Aruba Central and CLI for troubleshooting.
• Experience onboarding Aruba wireless APs and managing Arista via CloudVision/CLI.
• Experience with Cisco switching and wireless, Infoblox DDI.

Infrastructure Network Engineer

The Role

We are seeking skilled Infrastructure Network Engineers to administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise switching, wireless, and SD-WAN infrastructure. This role requires hands‑on experience managing Aruba switches through Aruba Central, onboarding and troubleshooting Aruba wireless access points, administering Arista switches through CloudVision and CLI, and supporting Cisco switching and wireless platforms. Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in switching, VLANs, STP, and VeloCloud SD‑WAN, along with knowledge of Infoblox DDI. The role collaborates with infrastructure, security, and application teams to maintain network availability, resolve incidents, and implement network changes.

Pay Rate Transparency

Pay Range: $60 – $70/ hour

What You'll Do

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba switches using Aruba Central and CLI.
• Manage Arista switches through CloudVision and perform configuration and troubleshooting using the Arista CLI.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco switches.
• Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, link aggregation, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
• Investigate connectivity issues, switching loops, interface errors, and network performance problems.
• Perform switch onboarding, configuration backups, firmware upgrades, and maintenance.
• Maintain network diagrams, device inventories, and configuration standards.
• Onboard, configure, and manage Aruba wireless access points through Aruba Central.
• Troubleshoot access point onboarding, client connectivity, authentication, coverage, and performance issues.
• Configure and support wireless networks, SSIDs, and associated VLAN mappings.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot VeloCloud SD‑WAN environments.
• Support Infoblox DDI services, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for critical network incidents.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on architecture and change reviews.
• Contribute to network refreshes, site deployments, datacenter projects, and M&A integrations.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of infrastructure operations experience.
• Must hold an associate‑level certification from Cisco or Aruba.
• Strong proficiency in switching, Aruba wireless, VLANs, and STP.
• Hands‑on experience managing Aruba switches through Aruba Central and using CLI for troubleshooting.
• Experience onboarding and troubleshooting Aruba wireless access points.
• Experience managing Arista switches through CloudVision and using the Arista CLI.
• Hands‑on Cisco switching skills.
• Knowledge of Infoblox DDI and Cisco wireless.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
