The incumbent operates equipment such as trucks, mowers, a variety of power and hand tools in order to accurately locate and mark City owned infrastructure to include but not limited to water, sewer, storm sewer, traffic control devices, electric lines and fiber optic lines. Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines.
Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must possess a valid Oklahoma Class "D" driver’s license and be insurable. Must have or obtain ODEQ Class "D" Water and Wastewater certifications within one (1) year. Previous experience in infrastructure location field preferred.
Salary Range: $18.5695 - $19.6621/hr. with benefits. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. EOE.
