Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist in Wendell, NC to coordinate and advance infrastructure services across multiple sites. The role focuses on WAN, LAN, server infrastructure, cybersecurity alignment, and incident management.

The candidate will liaise with business teams, internal IT, and vendors to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure that adheres to global standards and local needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6-8+ years of IT infrastructure experience in multi-site environments.
• Experience with vendor-managed IT services.
• Strong WAN/LAN, networking, and infrastructure delivery.
• Experience coordinating major incidents, problems, and escalations.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate WAN-related requests, upgrades, and service changes.
• Lead operational touchpoints with WAN providers to review delivery status and upcoming needs.
• Perform bandwidth and capacity planning to support growth and site launches.
• Coordinate major LAN-related requests such as new sites, VLANs, and network expansions.
• Manage local networks and ensure changes are documented and governed.
• Support infrastructure readiness for factory/OT integration and manufacturing needs.
• Escalate issues during major incidents and partner to accelerate recovery.
• Translate technical risks into clear business language for stakeholders.
