Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Connectivity Engineer to be the on-site expert at our client's factory, handling connectivity issues and coordinating network cabling with internal teams and external partners.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting and guiding network operations rather than device configuration, with involvement in IT infrastructure projects and partnering with vendors to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field; not mandatory if candidate is studying similar field
• 3–5 years of experience in Infrastructure Network/Telco domain or equivalent
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure hardware (network and hosting)
• Experience with networks, Telecommunications, Server, Virtualization (Hyper-V)
• Experience with CISCO network (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Experience with network segregation (VLANs)
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL); SNOW is a plus
• Understanding of network security and policy implementation (CISCO, Palo Alto)
• Ability to create network/hosting diagrams and documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work with budget and projects
• CCNA preferred; other networking/server/firewall certs are a plus

Responsibilities

• Participate/Lead in managing IT network, telecom, and on-prem server infrastructure duties
• Role splits ~70% network, 20% server, 10% other IT duties
• Collaborate in creating logical network designs and physical layouts
• Create and implement security patching schedules and policies for network/hosting equipment
• Monitor network status and capacity
• Support IT infrastructure operations and escalations for availability and performance
• Coordinate with providers on different levels of operational issues
• Lead or participate in global and local IT infrastructure projects
• Coordinate operations with local IT service vendors/partners
