Job summary

ERM seeks a Consultant, Land Services, Title Researcher to join the Land Services team in the Chicagoland area. You will conduct title research and due diligence for infrastructure and real estate projects, documenting ownership history and encumbrances to support permitting, acquisition, and development efforts.

Required 2-3 years in title searches and strong knowledge of Illinois records, with ability to work independently and travel within Chicagoland as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in real estate title searches or similar due diligence work.
• Working knowledge of Illinois real estate records and county recording systems.
• Experience researching Cook County and surrounding Chicagoland counties preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and summarize deeds, mortgages, releases, liens, judgments, easements, plats, surveys, and tax records.
