Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. Infrastructure Investments Group seeks an Investment Principal Associate to drive long-term strategies for private infrastructure equity holdings. You will lead, analyze, and manage relationships, contributing to deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio value creation.

The role involves close collaboration with senior IIG members across London and New York, supporting fundraising and investor relations while focusing on cash flow optimization and responsible governance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in private equity or infra buy-side investing.
• Proficiency in operating and valuation models including DCF analyses.
• Interest in infrastructure sectors like utilities, transport, renewables, water.
• Commitment to integrity and ethics in all actions.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans for portfolio companies pre- and post-acquisition.
• Liaise with portfolio management on BD, including M&A and financings.
• Participate in budgeting and strategic planning at portfolio companies.
• Attend board and committee meetings for portfolio companies.
• Oversee relationships with shareholders, operating partners, and co-investors.
• Monitor and maximize cash flow from investments.
• Support all fundraising activities.
• Source and review acquisition opportunities; lead deal structuring teams.
• Lead due diligence, engage third-party experts, and discuss findings.
• Draft and present investment memorandums for investment committees and boards.
