Job summary

JRAD is seeking an Alternative Construction Methods Specialist to support Headquarters Air Force Civil Engineers and Enterprise Partner Organizations. The role focuses on progressive design-build, OTAs, CSOs, and other acquisition strategies to accelerate infrastructure delivery and enhance mission readiness across the Air Force.

The specialist will coordinate MILCON program development and ensure compliance with DoD policy, design standards, and base requirements, collaborating with government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 4 years in federal construction or acquisition programs, with at least 3 years in alternative delivery methods.
• Experience with progressive design-build (PDB) and OTAs/CSOs.
• Experience with DoD policy, design standards, and MILCON program execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on alternative construction methods and innovative delivery models.
• Draft policy updates and best practices for innovative construction delivery.
• Coordinate MILCON projects and acquisition strategies leveraging OTAs and CSOs.
• Collaborate with contracting officers, legal teams, and program managers to ensure compliance and speed.
