Job summary

KBRA is seeking an Associate for Project Finance and Infrastructure in New York. The role involves assigning ratings, performing surveillance, and analyzing cash flows, contracts, and technical aspects of complex infrastructure projects.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of credit analysis and a Bachelor’s degree, with strong Excel skills and a track record in financial modeling and reporting to senior committees.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of credit analysis experience in rating/credit research environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, management, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for large datasets.
• 1–2 years experience in power/renewables project finance or similar.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools like ChatGPT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign new ratings and surveillance for infrastructure and energy project finance transactions; analyze cash flows, and evaluate legal, contractual, and technical aspects of a project.
• Attend industry conferences and seminars to promote KBRA.
• Share KBRA’s credit view with investors on existing transactions and market developments.
