Job summary

Fermilab is seeking an Infrastructure Manager II to oversee the Central Facilities Management Program for assigned buildings at our Batavia office. You will coordinate personnel and contractors, manage multi-trade tasks, and prepare capital asset replacement plans for facilities.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience and a strong knowledge of building mechanicals, electrical and safety standards.gh

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in facilities management or related field.
• OSHA-10 construction preferred or willing to obtain.
• Experience with CMMS and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building systems operations for safe and efficient performance.
• Develop procurement packages for facility projects.
• Review contractor proposals and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage multi-trade contracts through completion.
• Ensure compliance with ESH&Q regulations and programs.
• Monitor equipment such as HVAC, boilers, chillers, and roof systems.
