Associate Staffing LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer Sr. to design, deploy, and manage scalable Kubernetes environments on AWS. You will influence cloud strategy, optimize performance, and enforce robust security practices across containerized workloads.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT, with deep Kubernetes experience, AWS services, and IaC proficiency. The role supports remote work with flexible hours and may require on-site or hybrid arrangements according to policy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration, microservices, and Docker.
• In-depth experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
• Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proficiency with Helm, CI/CD tools (ArgoCD), and automation pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes security including RBAC, network policies, and secrets management.
• Networking concepts including load balancing, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in IT, with at least 2 years specializing in Kubernetes, preferably with AWS EKS
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and Docker
• In-depth experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Preferred Education and Experience

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of professional experience or equivalent practical knowledge
• Demonstrated success leading Kubernetes deployment and management in cloud environments

• Ability to work remotely with flexible hours
• Security clearance or willingness to undergo background checks, if applicable
• On-site or hybrid work arrangements may be required depending on organizational policies
• Must possess current work authorization
