Orb is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain a high bar for reliability across our product infrastructure. You will own event ingestion, API services, alerting, and invoicing pipelines, ensuring uptime and revenue protection.

You will lead resiliency efforts, improve observability, and build scalable, performance-critical infrastructure while partnering with other engineering teams to deliver reliable features and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of infrastructure domain experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and improving observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts and recovery mechanisms.
• Improve observability and operability of systems.
• Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure.
• Plan scaling initiatives to handle large customer growth.
• Collaborate with other teams to deliver reliable features.
