Job summary

A well-known Financial Services Company is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer/Physical Security in Charlotte, NC and Chandler AZ (Hybrid). This contract role requires experience with video surveillance, IP networking, and field installation of security hardware.

Join a long-term contract of 12+ months with potential extension, operating on a W2 basis. The ideal candidate brings a mix of networking and physical security expertise to support enterprise infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technology infrastructure engineering and solutions.
• 3+ years in video surveillance and security alarm systems.
• 3+ years with IP-based network implementations including VLANs and ACLs.
• 1+ years field installing IP cameras, NVRs, and alarm panels.
• 1+ years evaluating and piloting physical security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in low to moderately complex infrastructure initiatives and identify improvements.
• Oversee video surveillance and security alarm systems deployments.
• Implement IP-based networks including VLANs, VLAN routing, and ACLs.
• Field install IP cameras, NVRs, and alarm panels.
• Pilot test physical security technologies within a distributed enterprise.
• Review assignments, research options, and present low-to-medium risk solutions.
• Provide information to client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with video surveillance and security alarm systems
• 3+ years of experience with of IP based network implementations including VLANs, VLAN routing, Access Control Lists
• 1+ years of experience with field installation of IP Camera, Network Video Recorder and Alarm Panel hardware
• 1+ years of experience with evaluation and pilot testing of physical security surveillance and monitoring system technologies within a large, distributed enterprise setting

What You Will Be Doing

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Infrastructure Engineering.
• Video surveillance and security alarm systems

• Field installation of IP Camera, Network Video Recorder and Alarm Panel hardware
• Pilot testing of physical security surveillance and monitoring system technologies within a large, distributed enterprise setting
• Review and analyze basic or tactical Infrastructure Engineering assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering.
