Job summary

First Century Bank, N.A. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support and modernize on-premises datacenter and cloud environments.

The role is a hands-on generalist responsible for implementing infrastructure changes, incident resolution, maintenance, and disaster recovery activities in a compliant, regulated setting. You will administer VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory, while enabling secure, hybrid connectivity to Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience including network, compute, virtualization, and storage/backup.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Backup and recovery concepts, HA, RTO, and RPO.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Automation/scripting experience, preferably PowerShell.
• Experience with formal change management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Bank's network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, wireless).
• Administer and maintain on-premises VMware, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
• Operate and maintain cloud workloads, preferably Microsoft Azure, in a hybrid model.
• Support secure connectivity across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer enterprise storage, backup, and replication including verification and restore testing.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Administer Active Directory and user access with least-privilege.
• Apply security updates, hardening, and regulatory standards; maintain documentation.
• Monitor health, respond to incidents, perform maintenance and patching.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to improve efficiency.
