Job summary

First Century Bank is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our on-prem and cloud operations in Georgia. You will implement infrastructure changes, resolve incidents, perform routine maintenance, and participate in disaster recovery while following standard change control and regulatory requirements.

You will manage network, virtualization (VMware), Windows Server and Linux, and hybrid Azure workloads, ensuring secure connectivity and reliable backups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies including switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions and understanding of HA, DR, RTO, and RPO concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs.
• Administer on-premises VMware, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
• Operate and maintain cloud workloads in Microsoft Azure in a hybrid model.
• Support secure connectivity across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer enterprise storage, backup, and replication solutions, including backup verification and recovery testing.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID with least-privilege access.
• Apply security updates, hardening, and configuration standards while supporting audit requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure health, respond to alerts, and perform routine maintenance and patching.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and maintain runbooks.
• Provide advanced infrastructure support and maintain accurate technical documentation.
