Job summary

Arena Intelligence is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to build the core infrastructure beneath our online evaluation systems, enabling scalable, reliable model evaluation at the frontier. You will work on gateways, runtimes, and serving layers that scale with demand.

You should have 4+ years in backend engineering, strong Go or Rust, and experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Terraform, and data stores. This role offers a chance to shape AI infrastructure in a fast‑moving startup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience focused on distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Rust with API or gateway experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, and common DBs.

Responsibilities

• Build API-based products from the ground up.
• Solve streaming problems and ensure reliable delivery.
• Ship enterprise-grade infrastructure with features like rate limiting and auth.
• Build observability with tracing and dashboards.
• Collaborate with research to turn ideas into products.
