Patient First in Richmond, VA is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to support hybrid infrastructure operations and drive the organization's transition to a standardized Microsoft Azure platform.

The role blends hands-on systems administration with cloud engineering, including IaC, Azure landing zones, and incident response, with compensation in the 115k–150k range and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with relocation assistance for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or hybrid cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and hybrid integration patterns.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar IaC tools.
• Knowledge of Azure Landing Zones, RBAC, Azure Policies, management groups, and subscription governance.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience supporting Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, DNS, backup/recovery, patching, and monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure dev/test/prod environments using approved landing zone standards.
• Build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Support Azure services including compute, storage, identity, monitoring, backup, scaling, and disaster recovery.
• Automate infrastructure deployments through CI/CD pipelines and version-controlled templates.
• Support Windows and Linux environments, virtualization, backup/recovery, patching, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues involving Active Directory, DNS, storage, system access, and application dependencies.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and operational recovery activities.
• Collaborate with networking, security, database, application, and support teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.

Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year annual salary, depending on experience

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
