Job summary

Lambda is seeking an Energy & Infrastructure Counsel to lead complex transactions across data center portfolio and future developments. You will own legal structuring, drafting, and negotiations, collaborating with site development, power, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to close multi-million or billion-dollar deals.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of senior-level experience, deep infrastructure know-how, and fluency in energy markets, with a JD and active U.S. bar membership.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of legal experience running complex commercial transactions, ideally split between an elite AmLaw law firm and an innovative, fast-moving infrastructure or technology company.
  • Deep infrastructure expertise with a proven track record of managing a heavy workload, prioritizing risk efficiently, and closing multi-million or billion-dollar transactions on accelerated schedules.
  • Strong technical and energy market literacy, showing understanding of data centers, wholesale electricity markets (e.g., ERCOT, PJM), utility interconnections, and emerging AI hardware stacks.
  • Solution-oriented commercial mindset with ability to demonstrate sound judgment in high-stakes situations.
  • Elite communication abilities, bridging technical engineering needs with legal protections.
  • A JD from an accredited law school and an active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
  • A lot of charge in the battery—thriving under pressure in an environment that demands high responsiveness, versatility, and absolute ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the legal structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex transactions across our portfolio of leased data centers, and data centers we will develop ourselves through land and power acquisitions.
  • Work cross-functionally with site development, power, engineering, procurement, and finance leaders to execute the infrastructure deals that will define Lambda’s future.

As Lambda continues its rapid growth, and our data center footprint continues scaling, we are expanding our legal team is expanding its infrastructure, corporate development, and power capabilities. We are seeking an Energy & Infrastructure Counsel to act as a primary deal architect for our multi-billion-dollar-scale physical infrastructure investments.

You will take end-to-end ownership of the legal structuring, drafting, and negotiation of complex transactions across our portfolio of leased data centers, and data centers we will develop ourselves through land and power acquisitions. You will work cross-functionally with our site development, power, engineering, procurement, and finance leaders to execute the infrastructure deals that will help define Lambda’s future.

You

Salary Range Information

The annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
