Job summary

WSP seeks a Manager, Management Consultancy to guide infrastructure owners through planning, delivery and operation of major projects. Based in any major US city, you will advise on development and financing, with a focus on alternative delivery methods, within the US Advisory Services Team.

You will strategize with agencies and owners to optimize procurement, draft RFIs/RFPs, analyze risks, and collaborate across engineers, financial analysts and legal counsel to deliver successful capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years’ experience in directly relevant endeavors.
• Experience with drinking water and wastewater projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Authorization to immediately work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Guiding infrastructure owners through the planning, delivery and operation of major infrastructure projects.
• Advise owners on methods of project development and financing of capital projects, with emphasis on alternative delivery methods.
• Strategizing with agencies and project owners to evaluate project delivery methods and determine the optimal method to fit the owner’s needs.
• Interfacing with project owners to determine goals and constraints for implementation of their projects.
• Assisting with development of procurement strategies and drafting procurement documents (RFI, RFQ, RFP).
• Advising public agencies and private clients through procurement to engage design-build-operate-maintain entities.
• Developing risk profiles, drafting risk matrices, leading risk workshops and evaluating risk allocation.
• Collaborating in a team environment with other project members including engineers, financial analysts and legal counsel.
