Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy platform services, implement IaC pipelines with Terraform and Ansible, and enable automation across CI/CD toolchains in a DevOps environment.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, promote automation-first practices, and contribute to database lifecycle actions in PaaS pipelines and broader enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer on enterprise-scale platforms.
• 2+ years hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• 2+ years Ansible playbooks and automation experience.
• 2+ years CI/CD with Git, Jenkins, and Ansible Tower.
• 2+ years in a DevOps culture and automation-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services per enterprise standards.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
• Enable complex deployments through automation and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Promote DevOps practices and continuous improvement.
• Implement database lifecycle actions into PaaS IaC pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions, including Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, supporting enterprise-scale platforms and services
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
