Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field execution for PG&E infrastructure projects in Central California. You will oversee project scope, schedule, safety, quality, and cost, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has a 15+ year track record in large civil/industrial construction, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel within 60 miles is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field; 15+ years field experience.
• Proven ability to manage major capital improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Act as Parsons’ representative with the client, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders during project execution.
• Represent the client in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings, as required.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the Construction Management Plan, Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan, and QA/QC Plan.
• Supervise inspection staff and coordinate field inspection activities.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and procure items for field operations.
• Establish procedures for administration of field vehicles and equipment, including logs and reports.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Prepare and negotiate scope changes with client and subcontractors.
• Develop action plans to address cost overruns, delays, and scope changes.
