Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering or construction.
• Experience managing large cross-functional projects and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Works autonomously, applying extensive subject matter expertise to solve complex problems across civil, electrical, and general construction.
• Supports strategic planning with senior management.
• Manages major cross-functional projects and initiatives with a focus on cost and schedule.
• Partners with sourcing and contracts to ensure contracts and records comply.
• Maintains relationships with management to ensure construction management services are provided promptly.
• Ensures project estimates reflect CM and inspection resources required.
• Attends and conducts project bid walks and site meetings as necessary.
• Provides constructability reviews, cost development, and resource loading with milestone updates during pre-construction/design phase.
• Leads job scope walk-downs and design reviews to provide constructability input and review IFC drawings.
• Monitors construction activities to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.
• Oversees inspection of construction work and coordinates field inspectors.
• Communicates engineering/design issues with Project Coordination and Engineering; decides on cost/schedule changes per DOA.
• Provides mentoring to all other level employees.
