Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union in North Carolina is seeking a strategic infrastructure leader to align data center, cloud, and network decisions with business goals. You will design and oversee complex on‑prem and cloud environments, lead engineering teams, and manage budgets, risk, and vendor relations while driving operating excellence and security.

You will partner with executives to prioritize initiatives, implement disaster recovery plans, and advocate for modern, scalable infrastructure

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT work experience, with leadership in a medium-to-large enterprise.
• 5+ years leading teams in on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including procurement and asset tracking.
• 1+ year in application support for internal and third‑party solutions, plus cloud strategy and hands‑on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Guide design, deployment, and performance of data center, cloud, network, telecom, storage, compute, backup, LAN and SD-WAN.
• Build and develop high‑performing engineering teams with staffing, coaching, priorities and delivery methods.
• Partner with executives, Risk, Legal and vendors to guide roadmaps, budgets, governance and disaster recovery readiness.
• Identify automation opportunities, review metrics, influence decisions, and serve as escalation path.
