Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union seeks a strategic, hands-on IT leader to direct data center, cloud, network, and telecom engineering. You will shape infrastructure strategy, balance stability with innovation, and drive cloud-first initiatives across a broad technology footprint.

You will build high-performing teams, coordinate with executives and risk/Legal/vendor partners, and guide budget, governance, and disaster recovery readiness to ensure resilient services for members.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of equivalent IT work experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a related IT role within medium-to-large enterprise.
• 5+ years of experience in technology procurement and asset tracking.
• Experience in on-premises and cloud infrastructure planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the teams and strategy responsible for Truliant’s core infrastructure.
• Balance operational stability, security, scalability, and cost while advancing cloud-first capabilities.
• Oversee staffing, coaching, priorities, delivery methods, and operational results.
• Partner with executives and partners to guide roadmaps, budgets, vendors, contracts, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve efficiency and serve as escalation point.

You’ll balance operational stability, security, scalability, and cost while advancing cloud-first capabilities and keeping technology aligned with business priorities.Day to day, you’ll:Guide the design, deployment, and ongoing performance of data center, cloud, network, telecom, storage, compute, backup, LAN, SD-WAN, and related infrastructure.Build and develop high-performing engineering teams while overseeing staffing, coaching, priorities, delivery methods, and operational results.Partner with executives, business leaders, Risk, Legal, Vendor Management, and strategic sourcing to guide roadmaps, budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, governance, and disaster recovery readiness.Beyond that, you’ll identify opportunities to automate and simplify work, review operational and risk metrics, influence enterprise technology decisions, and serve as an escalation point when teams need a practical path forward.What you bringWe’re looking for a strategic, hands-on technology leader who can connect infrastructure decisions to business outcomes, communicate clearly with technical and executive audiences, and create an environment where teams can do their best work.This role is a great fit if you have:Required Experience:8+ years of equivalent IT work experience.5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a related IT role within a medium-to-large enterprise, including on-premises infrastructure and outsourced or cloud services.5+ years of experience in technology procurement and asset tracking.At least 1 year of experience in each of the following: application support for internally developed and third-party solutions;
