Job Details

• Position: Infrastructure Cloud Security Engineer
• Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
• Type: Contract (4 months, with potential extension or full-time conversion)
• Rate: $70/hr - $85/hr

Our client is looking for a contract Infrastructure Cloud Security Engineer to evaluate and improve Security Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Amazon Machine Image (AMI) pipelines, ensuring adherence to best practices while maintaining scalability and flexibility. The role involves transitioning existing workflows from AWS to modernized IaC pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in GitHub, GitHub Actions
• Terraform
• Python
• Experience with CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CI/CD tools
• Experience working with AWS and security validation tools
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and AMI creation processes

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Terragrunt for infrastructure management
• Knowledge of automation best practices within AWS
• Familiarity with compliance-driven security frameworks
