What you’ll do

The North American Solution Delivery Selling & Store Operations Team manages Front and Back of Stores solutions within Client IT, delivering capabilities that enrich the Customer and Associate experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented Engineer to guide the lifecycle of these capabilities through planning, design, and delivery within Back of Stores modernization strategy.

You will develop technology related to Workforce Management solutions for North American and European users, working within the Workforce Management scrum team, part of the Global Back of Stores Agile Release Train.

Your responsibilities include designing, configuring, and developing features and services for key business priorities, owning the technology for Global Workforce Management systems like Kronos Workforce Central and UKG Pro WFM, and supporting integrations, monitoring, and system configuration within a fast-paced, agile environment following SAFe principles.

What you’ll need

Ideal candidates will have software engineering experience with UKG Pro WFM, APIs, SaaS, and developing integrations using the Boomi platform, supporting back of stores modernization.

In this role, you will:

  • Write efficient code, review, troubleshoot, and debug
  • Modernize back of stores systems through development and testing
  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Product, and Stores Engineering teams to design, deploy, and support software
  • Contribute to the back of stores roadmap and evaluate new technologies
  • Ensure security compliance, high availability, and recoverability
  • Solve complex technical problems
  • Build collaborative relationships across teams
  • Develop standards and tools to improve efficiency
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-10 years as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
  • Experience with DataHub, PowerBI, and complex queries/reports
  • Advanced PowerBI skills
  • Experience with UKG Boomi integrations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Dell Boomi experience
  • Knowledge of Workforce Central, UKG Pro WFM, and related applications
  • 3+ years SaaS/Cloud practices
  • Knowledge of Middleware Technologies (PowerBI connectors, Boomi, etc.)
  • 2+ years working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB
  • Experience with Agile and DevOps tools (Git, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence)
  • 3+ years Object-Oriented Design experience
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems like Oracle HRIS, Workday, and retail business processes
