Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an experienced infrastructure professional to build, manage, monitor, and operate the firm’s infrastructure systems and environments. This role supports security, disaster recovery, and business continuity for customer-facing IT services.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to sit in any U.S. office. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with Active Directory, storage, and networking, plus strong scripting and Azure knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience with Active Directory, storage and networking.
• High School or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with security configuration and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

• Builds, manages, monitors, secures and operates the firm’s infrastructure systems and environments.
• Ensures that the systems including global integration points and Cloud systems are available and functioning at all times.
• Performs hands-on configuration.
• Creates and maintains system documentation.
• Participates and/or leads disaster recovery planning, testing and validation.
• Participates in vendor relationships.
• Performs daily monitoring and support of the Firm’s systems, applications and ensuring availability and stability.
• Participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Performs daily monitoring and required maintenance to keep systems highly available and performing optimally.
• Proactively identifies needs for improvements, capacity changes and upgrades.
• Plans and implements upgrades and patches to stay current.
• Resolves escalated cases and performs fault resolution and root-cause diagnosis.
• Other duties as assigned.
