Job summary

Leading Global Law Firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate to join its nationally recognized Energy & Infrastructure practice. Work on major PPP/P3, concession, and project finance deals.

Collaborate with sponsors, lenders, developers, and investors on domestic and international transactions. The ideal candidate has substantial infrastructure finance experience and strong drafting and negotiation skills, plus eligibility for bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Job description

A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-level to senior associate to join its nationally recognized Energy & Infrastructure practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most significant infrastructure, public-private partnership (PPP/P3), concession, and project finance transactions in the market.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience advising private-sector participants on complex infrastructure projects and financings across a wide range of asset classes. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with sponsors, investors, lenders, developers, and concessionaires on high-profile domestic and international transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on the development, procurement, financing, acquisition, and operation of infrastructure projects.
  • Represent equity sponsors, developers, concessionaires, lenders, investors, and other private-sector participants in PPP/P3 transactions.
  • Structure, negotiate, and document project financings, concession agreements, and related infrastructure contracts.
  • Support transactions from bid stage through financial close and ongoing project implementation.
  • Assist clients with development, acquisition, refinancing, and restructuring of infrastructure assets.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams on complex energy and infrastructure matters.
  • Provide strategic advice regarding project delivery models, risk allocation, and commercial arrangements.
Preferred Experience

Candidates should have meaningful experience in several of the following areas:

  • Lender Representation
  • Greenfield Infrastructure Projects
Relevant Industry Experience

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Approximately 3 to 9+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure, project finance, PPP/P3, or related transactional practices.
  • Demonstrated experience representing sponsors, financing parties, developers, investors, or concessionaires.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Active bar membership in the jurisdiction where the attorney intends to practice.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary expected to range from $260,000 to $435,000, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
  • Eligibility for discretionary performance-based bonus opportunities.
