Embrace the opportunity to lead a continuously evolving platform engineering team, where your influence shapes the tools, processes, and standards that power Sentry’s enterprise IT operations. You’ll oversee critical platforms—spanning messaging, observability, workload automation, and secure data exchange—while working across technologies like RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Dynatrace, Control-M, and Valkey. If you thrive in a highly dynamic environment, love being challenged, and want to drive innovation that makes a real impact, this is the team for you.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a valuable contributor to our team. As a Sentry associate, we believe in your skills and knowledge. Your input and participation matters. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Innovate: Through our agile development process, you’ll have the opportunity to apply your creativity and innovation to drive new solutions.

  • Learn: Sentry provides several resources to help you further your career and continue your personal development, including Sentry University, LinkedIn Learning, and peer-led educational sessions and communities.

  • Grow : Sentry provides many opportunities to grow in your career. Through meaningful, ongoing conversations around growth and development, we encourage all associates to take ownership in their career path.

Contribute: As an Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and improve infrastructure and platform provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and incident response processes.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and self-service within IT operations, including repetitive tasks, manual processes, and workflow optimizations.

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure technology projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline constraints and are aligned with strategic plans and direction.

  • Design, implement, and execute practices and standards to maintain operational availability, performance, security, and cost effectiveness.

  • Actively manage 3rd party relationships from a procurement, vendor performance, and value realization perspective.

  • Maintain a broad conceptual understanding of the latest technology trends of multiple disciplines and industries, continuouslyevaluate these trends for applicability to the business and operational environment.

What it Takes:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

  • Experience building and operating large-scale solutions that support core technology pillars within the Technology & Infrastructure Services group (e.g. Compute/Network/Storage/Data Platforms/Cloud/Observability/Software Delivery).

  • Awareness of general capabilities of multiple public cloud (and data center) providers, understanding of self-service concepts, automation frameworks, and DevOps principles.

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Successful track record of solution delivery and experience with project management practices.

  • Ability to communicate, both written and presentation, to appropriate audiences.

If you have experience in the skills listed above, please consider joining our Sentry team!
