Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to support a mission-critical government program in Fort Belvoir, VA.

You will administer enterprise SAN/NAS storage, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of infrastructure, storage, or systems administration experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
• Security+ Certification (required).
• Must be eligible for SAP approval/review.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise SAN and NAS storage environments.
• Provision storage resources, manage LUNs and volumes, and perform capacity planning activities.
• Monitor storage health, utilization, and performance to ensure optimal system operation.
• Execute storage upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with systems, network, database, backup, and cybersecurity teams to design and support enterprise storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues including connectivity, performance bottlenecks, backup/recovery failures, and integration challenges.
• Support Windows and Linux systems attached to enterprise storage platforms.
• Manage storage replication, snapshots, RAID configurations, and disaster recovery processes.
• Utilize monitoring and reporting tools to identify, troubleshoot, and remediate performance concerns.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting and infrastructure management tools where applicable.
• Participate in change management, incident response, maintenance windows, and on-call support activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation of storage architecture, procedures, and configurations.

Position Overview
