RTX is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I for an onsite role in West Valley City, UT. You will join a cross-disciplinary team, engineering software and systems for defense applications. The position emphasizes agile practices, field deployment, and ongoing collaboration with engineers and service members.

Requirements include a STEM bachelor's degree and hands-on experience with Python, C/C++, Linux, and DevOps tools. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM major by start date.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with C/C++ or other object oriented programming languages.
• Experience with Linux and scripting languages.
• Experience with networking protocols.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Salt.
• Existing security clearance w/Poly (Active within the last 24 months).

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-disciplined agile teams to design, develop, and integrate software and systems.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• Work on field deployments after training, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and long-range goals with team guidance.
