Job summary

U.S. Bank offers a 10-week Information Security internship providing foundational experience through on-the-job training, mentorship, and camaraderie with peers.

The program leads to the Information Security Rotation Program after graduation, with hands-on projects that impact the bank. Ideal candidates are pursuing a related bachelor’s degree, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and can start on June 7, 2027, onsite in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science/engineering, management information systems, or similar majors with a target graduation date of December 2027 or spring 2028.
• Basic understanding of information security concepts from coursework or projects in network security, access and authorization, security risk management, cloud computing, cryptography, or development coding.
• Ability to start internship program on June 7, 2027.
• Ability to work in-person at our U.S. Bank location in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience working on information security initiatives that impact the business.
• Enhance your understanding and learn the foundations of banking technology related to information security practices.
• Develop technical and business acumen through training, mentorship, and exposure to senior executives.
• Build a supportive community of peers through a variety of cohort strengthening activities such as social events, volunteer days, and development workshops.
