Job summary

KeyBank's 2027 Summer Key Technology & Services Internship offers hands-on cybersecurity experience with mentors across Cyber Defense Center, IAM, and Cybersecurity Detection & Automation.

The 10.5-week program runs May–August 2027 in the Cleveland area, providing exposure to security teams, data analytics, and industry tools, with training and networking opportunities. Earn $25 per hour plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Completed at least three years toward a 4-year degree with cybersecurity/related coursework (May 2028 or Dec 2027).
• Minimum undergraduate GPA 3.0.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past experiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work on critical cybersecurity projects with industry experts.
• Exposure to KeyBank Technology & Services.
• Grow your professional network and receive mentoring.
• Training on Excel/PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, VBA.
• Learn and use tools like Tableau, Jira, Visual Studio, Python, SQL, SIEM.
