Job summary

You will work with seasoned professionals to expand your knowledge, gain practical skills, and contribute to a security-first culture across our organization.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Interest and desire to learn about information security practices and technologies.
• Basic understanding of information security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, GRC platforms, etc.).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skillsets.
• Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information.
• Eagerness to learn and apply cybersecurity principles in a professional environment.
• Microsoft Operating System concepts and system administration knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site at either our corporate headquarters in Conshohocken, PA or in Carrollton, TX.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic security projects and tasks to gain practical experience in the security landscape.
• Partner closely with seasoned professionals on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Perform other security-related tasks as needed to support the team.
• Pro-active vs. Re-active mindset to engage in Information Security developmental workshops and intern-led activities.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documents such as spreadsheets that track, measure, and facilitate improvement of internal processes.
• Review and assist in the implementation of security policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives that require analysis and keen desire to learn various Information Security tools.
• Support on special projects and other tasks/duties as needed
