Job summary

Shield Point, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, in the Washington DC metro area seeks an Information Security Support Specialist (MID) to own control of classified documents up to TS/SCI. You will ensure policy compliance, support accreditation and risk assessments, and maintain security systems.

This role requires 3–5 years in Information Security, strong communication, and a U.S. citizenship with final TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Physical Security and Information Security disciplines.
• Experience maintaining accountability of classified documents and equipment holdings.
• Experience reviewing documents for markings, classification determinations, and declassification.
• Working knowledge of government security programs and policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 3–5 years of specialized experience in Information Security.
• Ability to communicate in English; basic computer skills; proficient with MS Office.
• U.S. Citizen with final TS/SCI clearance; interim clearances not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Owns control and accountability of classified documents up to TS/SCI.
• Serve as Information Security SME and interpret security policy guidance.
• Develop and maintain current classified information security systems and provide expert advice to account holders.
• Monitor FinCEN programs to enhance security controls for classified documents.
• Identify, automate, and document key Information Security processes.
• Assist in accreditation reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerabilities; provide recommendations.
• Review inspections and provide findings and recommendations for deficiencies.
• Support OPSEC and CUI programs; assist with SOPs and training materials.
• Update internal databases and provide training and bi-weekly metrics to COR.
