Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Security Specialist II (INFOSEC) to support the NSWC customer in Crane, Indiana. This in-person role focuses on classification, protection of sensitive information, and ensuring compliance with security requirements for classified meetings and materials. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA, 3+ years in security roles, knowledge of classification methods, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree required.
• 3+ years of security experience or training in classified environments.
• Knowledge of security classification methods, eligibility for access to classified information, and process for security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Classify, mark, redact, handle and safeguard protected/classified information.
• Provide guidance and oversight for declassification, regrading, and marking classified information.
• Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with security requirements; document findings and recommendations.
• Administer classified mail operations and access control for meetings, conferences, and events.
• Process courier letters for transport of classified material; validate requests against NSA-approved lists.
• Process PED and Photography Authorization letters; verify hardware requests.
• Administer Security Container Information forms (SF-700) for collateral security containers.
• Assist departments in identifying meeting security requirements before/during/after sensitive meetings.
• Conduct audits and spot-checks of collateral security containers.
• Prepare forms, reports and documentation for surveys, assessments, audits, or other processes.
