Job summary

CACI is seeking a Security Control Assessor/IA Specialist to provide information assurance for digital systems in Alexandria, VA. You will plan and execute RMF-based security control assessments, validate implementations, and prepare SARs while aligning with NIST standards and government requirements.

You will develop tailored documentation for security authorization, identify vulnerabilities, and support policy development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on RMF/ NIST controls experience.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and shared responsibility models.
• Ability to identify security weaknesses and interpret remediation actions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance for digital systems and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Plan and execute security control assessments using RMF and NIST guidelines.
• Validate control implementation and document test results (SARs).
• Support development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to improve security posture.
