Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Professional cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH) or comparable.
• Experience with ASRs, IV&V, or security assessments using NIST frameworks.
• Experience with RMF, security authorization, assessment, compliance, or continuous monitoring.
• Experience with vulnerability management, DLP, and Zero Trust.
• Knowledge of networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, cloud security.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency with AI platforms for automation and analysis.
• Strong incident response methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team and independent work.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review technical security assessments across environments.
• Support RMF security control assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Assist ASRs, ATO activities, and IV&V per DHA/NIST requirements.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and document cybersecurity programs and controls.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support vulnerability management, DLP, incident response, and Zero Trust.
• Evaluate networks, firewalls, encryption, cloud security.
• Collaborate with ISSMs, ISSOs, admins, developers, and government stakeholders.
• Leverage AI platforms for cybersecurity analysis and automation.
• Prepare security documentation, assessment results, and remediation plans.
• Communicate risks and remediation to technical and non-technical audiences.
