The candidate will work with government personnel and contractors to implement controls, conduct self-inspections, and ensure compliance with NIST/DoD standards while advancing security posture and incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other technical field; plus 3–5 years of related experience
• Active TS/SCI Clearance required
• 3+ years of security experience in defense or information systems security
• Knowledge of information systems security components and best practices including firewalls, IDS, data encryption, and anti-virus
• Experience with SDLC and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain NACI/T1
• IAM Level I Certification (CAP, GSLC, Security+CE) within 90 days
• Knowledge of DoD security standards (NIST, ISO27) and RMF

Responsibilities

• Work with multi-contractor team to support Cybersecurity and compliance requirements
• Identify and implement Cybersecurity controls and traceability
• Assist in obtaining and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO)
• Develop artifacts and test plans for ATO
• Monitor and enforce clearance requirements for cleared information systems
• Assist investigations into security violations and ensure corrective actions
• Support policy development and self-inspections of security processes
