Job summary

ABB is seeking an senior Information Security leader in Cary, NC to establish and run a sustainable compliance service. You will guide governance, risk, and assurance efforts, manage evidence and remediation, and deliver periodic security posture reports to senior leadership.

The role emphasizes security-by-design in all projects and collaboration across global teams. You will lead diverse stakeholders, manage a dashboard of risk metrics, and drive continuous improvement of security services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of Information Security experience with at least 10 years in governance, risk, projects and communications.
• Strong experience with ISO 2700x, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain operational methods, service compliance, and procedures.
• Plan, design, implement and continuously improve governance, compliance, assurance and risk.
• Guide, advise, or support document management and systems analyses.
• Act as service owner and transition to ongoing compliance service with control ownership.
• Design and oversee multi-layered Governance across EL Security and IS teams.
• Maintain security & compliance dashboard and evidence management.
• Govern security project design and ensure security-by-design in IS projects.
• Oversee implementation of security controls across EL assets and regions.
• Contribute to IS SRC roadmap and align with Corporate IS Security Roadmap.
• Establish risk-focused metrics and facilitate multi-country compliance with audits.
