Qualifications

• Bachelor-s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of industry experience across multitier IT environments.
• 6+ years in information security, regulatory compliance and risk management.
• 3+ years in IAM, user provisioning, RBAC or control self-assessment.
• Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, NIST, ISO 27000 series and related controls.
• Experience with SDLC, PMO, and MS productivity tools.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Healthcare tech experience and governance focus are a plus.

Responsibilities

• RFP and technology evaluation: develop security requirements and assess vendor responses; document actionable recommendations.
• Security architecture and design: translate approved architecture into practical security designs.
• Security engineering and implementation: engineer controls and work with teams through build and deployment.
• Security-by-design mindset: learn new healthcare technologies and apply controls early in the lifecycle.
• Communication and collaboration: clearly explain requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
