Job summary

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support security controls across endpoint, identity, and Microsoft 365 environments. The role emphasizes process adherence, documentation, and learning under senior staff guidance.

The ideal candidate has a foundational IT security background with 1+ year of experience and exposure to Microsoft Defender tools, Intune, and SIEM concepts. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented position in a collaborative IT security team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Information Security, System Administration, Help Desk or similar roles.
• Exposure to MDM/MAM policies for Windows/MacOS/iOS/Android.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Defender Portal: Sentinel, Secure Score, Cloud Apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring security alerts and escalate to seniors as needed.
• Support endpoint security and compliance in Microsoft Intune and related tools.
• Maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and security settings.
• Test and validate security changes, policy updates, and endpoint configurations.
• Assist with user and device access reviews, MFA support, and identity security tasks.
• Document procedures and runbooks; contribute to knowledge bases.
• Collaborate with IT teams to investigate security issues and compliance gaps.
• Assist with routine reporting and tracking remediation items.
• Contribute to security awareness and continuous improvement efforts.
