Job summary

Credit Union West is seeking an Information Security Administrator I to support security operations, incident response, and governance. This full-time role collaborates with IT and business teams to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems while maintaining regulatory compliance and data protection.

The candidate will work within the Information Security function, contributing to security controls, monitoring, and incident handling, with a focus on building

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level security certifications such as Security+, CISSP-Associate, or similar are preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years of IT/cybersecurity experience, with security operations, monitoring, or compliance exposure.

• Monitor and analyze security systems and alerts across enterprise environments.
• Support incident response, forensics documentation, and regulatory/compliance activities.
• Assist in the execution and improvement of the information security program and technology governance.
