The Salvation Army International in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time IT professional to act as a technical resource for IT management. You will help ensure that computers, printers, copiers, phones, Cisco VoIP, and video conferencing systems are fully supported and integrated with daily operations.
The role emphasizes help desk support and system security, evaluating business processes and IT systems, and performing data migration and mapping, along with other IT responsibilities as needed.

Serves as a technical resource to Information Technology management by working to ensure that business processes and systems (computers, printers, copiers, telephones, cameras, Cisco VoIP, and video conferencing etc) within the entire Unit service area (all properties, programs, systems and processes) are supported by the appropriate information technology systems and that these systems and processes are fully integrated and aligned in support of daily operations and department needs.
Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, driving, lifting and carrying heavy computer equipment (25-50 lbs) 10-15 % of work time. Physical ability to "team lift" heavy materials, supplies and equipment (50-100 lbs) occasionally.Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing, walking or driving a vehicle for site visits.Most work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomfort associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
