We're looking for an experienced IT Technician to join a growing financial institution and provide hands-on technical support across a modern Microsoft-based environment.
This is not a traditional help desk position. We're seeking someone who can troubleshoot independently, take ownership of issues from start to finish, work directly with technology vendors, and support a wide range of end-user, security, and infrastructure technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for Windows 11 workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and business applications.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and networking issues.
- Configure, deploy, and support devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Support employee onboarding, offboarding, equipment deployments, licensing, and account administration.
- Review phishing, spam, and suspicious email reports and assist with endpoint security investigations and remediation.
- Work closely with end users, business stakeholders, and technology vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support Active Directory, Entra ID, security groups, shared mailboxes, and access management.
- Participate in workstation deployments, application upgrades, branch technology initiatives, and infrastructure projects.
- Travel to organizational locations as needed for onsite support.
Technical Environment
We're looking for hands-on experience with:
- Windows 11
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Office Apps)
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID
- Endpoint security platforms (SentinelOne, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco XDR, or similar)
- Help desk and ticketing systems
- PowerShell
- Business application support (financial services experience is a plus)
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- Experience working directly with software and hardware vendors
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a small IT team where responsibilities extend beyond traditional help desk support
- Experience in a regulated or financial services environment preferred, but not required
Schedule
- Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:15 PM
- One-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks
- Saturday On-Call Rotation: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Occasional travel between organizational locations required
If you're a technician who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and working across a broad range of technologies rather than simply escalating tickets, we'd love to hear from you.
