Greater Goods LLC is hiring a Part-Time to Full-Time IT Support Specialist in St. Louis, MO. The role offers on-site, hybrid, or up to 100% remote work with a pay rate of $30–$42 per hour, depending on experience.

The candidate will provide day-to-day IT support for Mac and Windows, administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and lead security initiatives, including SSO and EDR deployments. Ideal for candidates with IT support and security exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support/help desk or system administration.
• Troubleshooting hardware/software across macOS and Windows.
• Experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with SSO/identity platforms (JumpCloud/Okta/Entra ID) or ability to ramp up quickly.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS) for connectivity triage.
• Security best practices: patching, MFA, data protection.
• Strong customer-service orientation, explaining technical issues clearly.
• Organized and self-directed with ticketing and documentation.

About the role

We're looking for a part-time IT Support Specialist to keep our teams running smoothly. The work is a genuine mix: responsive day-to-day support for our people, plus meaty project work as we modernize our identity and endpoint-security stack. You'll work with both local and remote team members, and the role itself can be on-site in St. Louis, hybrid, or fully remote depending on the candidate.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Prior experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration
• Confident troubleshooting hardware and software across macOS and Windows
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with SSO/identity platforms (JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID) and endpoint-security tooling (CrowdStrike or similar) — or the ability to ramp up quickly
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS) for connectivity triage
• Solid grasp of security best practices: patching, least privilege, MFA, data protection
• Strong customer-service orientation — you explain technical issues in plain language
• Organized and self-directed: tickets, documentation, and follow-through don't slip
• Vocational training or a degree in IT/Computer Science is a plus, not a requirement
