The Information Technology Specialist Programming 2 – Hourly position supports the New York State Office of Information Technology Services' UniteNY IP telephony, video conferencing, and online meetings environment. The role involves provisioning, incident support, vendor coordination, and system implementation across a complex statewide infrastructure serving 53 state agencies. This is a temporary, full-time position located in Albany that requires working outside normal business hours and on-call support due to the 24/7/365 nature of the systems.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any field plus one year of IT experience, OR 60 semester credit hours including 15 in computer science plus one year of IT experience, OR two years of professional IT experience
• Advanced analysis, engineering, implementation, and support of telephony and video conferencing technologies
• Experience with ITSM resolver queues and incident/service request management
• Ability to work outside normal business hours and on-call support
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills
