Job summary

NYCSCA is seeking a Junior Full Stack .Net Developer to join a software development project team in New York. You will develop distributed web applications using .NET, Blazor, ASP.Net MVC5, SQL Server, and data integrations with internal and third-party systems.

The role covers all SDLC phases with a core development team, contributing to design, architecture, testing, and deployment activities. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related fields is required, with preferred cloud and DevOps

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using Microsoft .NET and related technologies.
• .NET (C#) 4.0/4.5/4.6 and .Net Core 2.0 or above.
• Understanding of Object-oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, architecture and design patterns.
• Sound knowledge of Web API, LINQ, Entity Framework and ADO.NET.
• Hands-on experience with the latest web standards and technologies, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, LESS, Azure DevOps, Git and WEB API.
• Must be able to create and modify SQL Server stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, indexed views, and LINQ to SQL.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP and data interchange standards including XML and JSON.
• Experience in MS DevOps on Azure- including source control management, build processes, continuous integration, continuous deployment and unit testing.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written communication, oral communication and listening skills.
• Must be self-motivated, conscientious, solution-oriented, and able to work with a team.

• Appointment Range: $85,056 - $144,361
• Incumbent Range: $97,814 - $166,015

Subject to the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the appointment rate for any newly hired employee, or employees with less than two years of active City or SCA service, shall be 15% less than the applicable incumbent rate.
